Does the duration of the shoppable video matter?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello! I run an e-commerce furniture store, and have been playing around with making shoppable videos for it. Does anyone here have an e-commerce store they use shoppable videos for? And if so, does the duration of the video matter at all, and what would you consider the best length for a shoppable video?

The duration of your shoppable videos matters, but only to a point. If your videos are too long, your audience may get bored, while a video that's too short may miss a visitor's attention. The length of your videos will vary depending on your intended audience as well as the aim of the video.
That said, as a general rule of thumb, videos on landing pages work best between 30 seconds and 1 minute, while product page and item description videos can be anywhere from 1 - 3 minutes long.
Play around with different-length videos, and find out what works best.
