Hi there, I'm in the process of creating a chatbot to welcome customers to my website but I don't know how to go about creating a welcome message which will retain customers. What are the best practices to follow when creating this message?

The best thing you can do is to be as original as possible, and this depends on your industry. Address your customer by a unique term (for example, "Hey rockstar!" will work on a website that sells guitars) and make it as human and familiar as possible, since people are used to constantly seeing bot messages.
