How do I optimize my e-commerce videos for SEO?

I want to start advertising some of my products online, and I've decided to do so via videos. However, I don't have much experience with the SEO aspect of video marketing for e-commerce. How do I optimize my video content for SEO? Does the length of the video matter? What about the video size?

Video length and size are both important aspects that contribute towards good (or bad) SEO. It does depend on what type of video it is, where it is placed, and who the audience is, but a good SEO-optimized video should usually be between 30 and 90 seconds long and as small as possible while maintaining good picture quality.
