Open Perplexity connectors

Open Perplexity → Settings → Connectors. Free tier is locked out of custom connectors.

Add a custom connector

Click + Custom connector. Transport: Remote. Name it Tolstoy. Choose OAuth and paste this URL:

Sign in and use research mode

Click the connector card to complete OAuth. Tools appear once authorized.

Heads up

Perplexity only fires connector tools in research or agent runs, not plain quick-search responses. Pick research mode when you want Tolstoy to act.
