Plan a week of social posts with the assets ready

Tolstoy plans a week of social posts from current trends, then makes the image or video and writes the copy for each day, once you approve the plan.

Works with: Shopify, Tolstoy AI Studio

Content calendar with scheduled posts and performance charts

What you need

  • The products or collection to feature
  • Your platforms, and how many days to plan (the prompt starts with seven)
  • Fixed dates such as a launch, and an offer only if you have one

What you get

  • A day-by-day plan with a theme, platform and format for each post
  • A finished image or video for every day
  • Editable post copy for each day

How it runs

Tolstoy runs this playbook in 4 steps.

  1. Check what is trending

The agent reads current Pinterest and X trends, and the ads that brands in your category run in the public Meta and TikTok ad libraries.

  2. Plan a theme per day

Each day gets a theme, a platform, a format and one line on why it fits, and you approve the plan first.

  3. Generate the assets

After your approval, the agent makes each day’s image, carousel or short video from your real products.

  4. Write the post copy

Every post gets a caption based on verified product facts, and the week comes back as one calendar.

Check the result

  • Every theme has a reason that ties its trend to one of your products. Cut a day with a weak reason before you approve.
  • Each asset is sized for its platform, and the week mixes images, carousels and videos.
  • The copy mentions no discount, review or result that you did not supply.

Know the limits

  • It does not post or schedule anything. You post each day, or load the calendar into your scheduling tool.
  • Trend data covers one market at a time, the US by default. Name your market if you sell elsewhere.

When to use this playbook

Use it when you post on more than one platform and the content plan gets made the night before. One run gives you a week of themes tied to what is trending now, with the assets to match, so posting is the only daily task left.

Get better results

  • Give the week one focus, such as a new arrival or one collection. A calendar built around one story reads better than seven unrelated posts.
  • Tell the agent your platforms and posting days. A Pinterest pin and a TikTok video need different formats.
  • Edit the plan before you approve it. Changing a theme in the plan is faster than replacing a finished asset.

The prompt

“Run this playbook” opens Tolstoy with this prompt as a draft. Pick your products, edit anything, then send it.

Plan a 7-day social content calendar for my selected products. First check current Pinterest and X trends and what brands in my category run in the Meta and TikTok ad libraries, and keep only trends that fit my products and brand. Give each day a theme, a platform, a format (image, carousel or short video) and one line on why it fits. If my platforms or products are missing, ask only for that. Show me the plan before you generate anything. After I approve it, generate each day’s asset from my real products, with a mix of images and videos, and write the post copy. Present the result as a calendar. Do not invent discounts, reviews or results, and do not post or schedule anything. Keep the real product shape, proportions, construction, print, color, logos and readable labels intact. Do not invent product features, claims or reviews.

FAQ

Where do the trends come from?

From Pinterest trend data, which lists rising keywords with their growth, from current trending topics on X, and from ads that run in your category in the public Meta and TikTok ad libraries. You do not need to connect those accounts for this research.

What happens to a trend that does not fit my brand?

The agent leaves it out. Trends are inputs for themes, not rules, so a trend that does not fit your products or your voice stays out of the plan.

Can I plan more than a week?

Yes. Change "7-day" in the prompt to the number of days you need. With a longer plan, approving the themes before generation saves more rework.
